Website redesign for the Green Roof Infrastructure Network, a Canadian nonprofit. Faster, mobile-friendly, and built to properly communicate their mission.
When GRIN BC reached out, their existing website was live but far from effective. Despite having the basics in place, the site struggled to retain visitors and convert engagement into meaningful action. The design wasn't communicating what the organization stood for, and it wasn't making it easy for people to get involved.
I held several strategy meetings with the GRIN team to understand their goals and the functionality they wanted, alongside a competitor analysis to see how similar organizations present themselves online. From there, I built a redesign plan focused on user experience, a modern look, and technical performance.
A mobile-first rebuild so the site adapts properly across every device.
Image and code caching for smooth, quick navigation on desktop and mobile.
A new space for GRIN to publish updates and thought leadership content.
A subscription feature so visitors can stay updated with ease.
Structured content and keywords for visibility, plus Google Analytics to track performance.
The transformation in both look and functionality has been remarkable. The new site finally reflects who we are and what we stand for, and it's made a real difference in how people engage with our work.
